The smallest and most peaceful village on the Arlberg, Stuben has maintained its originality since the beginning and is proud of its 110 inhabitants, 700 guests, along with their local alpine ski school.

Located within the Arlberg ski region, Austria's largest interconnected winter recreation area. Connected by a series of lifts and slopes, Stuben is a central point along the Arlberg region.
Skiing has a long tradition in Stuben, with stories from this peaceful little village dating back to the birth of Alpine skiing, during a time when the ascent of the Albona was a treacherous on-foot endeavor. The ski areas around the village are world-renowned and sit 1450 to 2800 m high. Stuben is also well known for being one of the snowiest ski villages worldwide, with amazingly favorable snow conditions almost every year.
The Albona - Stuben's Landmark Mountain
The Albona (snow guaranteed till May) offers those, seeking fun in deep snow tracks away from the masses, daily new challenges. The Albona is one of these mountains, offering such vast variety in downhill slopes, that even the locals dispute new varieties of downhill.
Stuben is truly a paradise for passionate skiing fans whose emphasis is as much on the sport as on a cosy get-together.
