Our history

Our hotel has borne this name since it opened in 1967 – named after Saint Hubert, the patron saint of hunters. The Hubertushof was built by the Grabher family of entrepreneurs. The builder was a passionate hunter who felt a deep connection to the natural surroundings of Stuben and the Arlberg. His passion for hunting gave the hotel its name.

You can still feel this connection today: the stag in our logo, which symbolises our bond with nature and our long-standing tradition. Over the years, the Hubertushof has evolved – from a simple bed and breakfast to a personally run 4-star hotel in the heart of Austria’s largest ski resort.

When you arrive at our hotel, Valeria is often the first person to welcome you. As Head of Reception and a representative of the owner’s family, she brings both sides together: the responsibility for ensuring a smooth stay and the personal warmth that only a family running its own home can offer. For Valeria, the Hubertushof is not simply a business, but a home that she is proud to share. It is important to her that every guest feels truly seen and welcomed – from the first “Grüß Gott” to the farewell. This personal touch can be felt throughout the entire hotel.
